students playing tug a war in the gym

Blanket is a place where everybody really does know your name. It’s all good news, so you’re sure to find a familiar name or two.

High School Picture Day

High school picture day is on Wednesday, September 30. Dress your best, and be ready to smile!

FFA Annual Meat and Fruit Sale

The FFA chapter is doing their annual meat sale, and fruit is coming soon. We are a little behind on getting the packets and prices out to the public. Please contact the Blanket Agriculture Department or any Blanket agriculture student if you have an interest in purchasing meat or fruit products for the holiday season.

Tutorial Help

Teachers are available to students for tutorial help before school from 7:30 to 7:55 a.m. and after school from 3:30 to 4:00 p.m.

School Choice

The school board, teachers, staff, and administration, are working hard to make Blanket ISD the school of choice for parents looking for a small school environment. Ultimately, this will equip their child to receive a top-quality education.

Parent Portal

We have a parent portal available for parents to see their grades and progress online. For information about this system and detailed instructions for accessing the new online options contact Larry Smith.

Back to School COVID-19 Required School Procedures

Blanket ISD is committed to the health and safety of every student and staff member as well as our community. We will follow the guidance and best practices of the Center for Disease Control (CDC), Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS), Brown County Health Department, Texas Education Agency (TEA), and local governance.

The Blanket ISD August 2020, instructional plan for parents and guardians was last modified based on TEA guidance on August 3, 2020, and Texas Governor Executive Order GA-20 on July 2, 2020, regarding the wearing of masks. The document will be updated as the government mandates change.
