FCCLA (Family Career and Community Leaders of America) will be new to Blanket ISD for the 2017-18 school year. FCCLA is one of the strongest leadership programs students can participate in at the high school level. There are many opportunities for students to engage in leadership activities and contests throughout this program. FCCLA is a leadership program associated with FCS (Family and Consumer Sciences). Classes that Blanket ISD plans to offer in the FCS program are culinary arts, principles of hospitality and tourism, principles of human service, advanced food science, dollars and sense, and floral design. The school board and staff are excited to bring this leadership opportunity to the students of Blanket ISD.
